MIDBY PARK

Published: 19 April 2021

Unfortunately Japanese knotweed has been discovered in three places in Midby Park.  The affected areas will have to be fenced off as if the stems are broken, this causes the weed to spread.  The fencing will have to stay in place until September as that is the time when the weed can be most effectively treated (by injection of weedkiller directly into the stem).   Our apologies for any inconvenience this may cause but it is imperative that we get rid of it.
